Jussi Luomajärvi appointed as Valvira’s Administrative Director

Jussi Luomajärvi, LL.M. with court training, has been appointed as Valvira’s Administrative Director from 1 March 2022.

Luomajärvi will be transferring to Valvira from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, where he has served as the Administrative Director and Director of the Administration Unit since the start of 2016. In 2013–2015, he worked with the Ministry of Transport and Communications as Senior Ministerial Advisor, working with difficult matters related to civil service law and general jurisprudence. Previous points in Luomajärvi’s career include several years of experience as Labour Market Lawyer for the Office for the Government as Employer, with specific tasks such as preparatory work for civil service legislation, and cooperative matters.
