Updated guidelines for the serving, retail sales and marketing of alcoholic beverages

Valvira has updated its guidelines on the serving, retail sales and marketing of alcoholic beverages. The guidelines take into account the interpretative practices and clarifications in regard to the Alcohol Act, which entered into force in 2018.

Clarity and accessibility have been emphasised in the updated guidelines. The Swedish-language versions of the guidelines will be published as soon as possible. The guidelines for the serving and marketing of alcoholic beverages will also be published in English.

Valvira’s guidelines for alcohol-related matters in English will be later available under the Alcohol section of the Valvira website. More guidelines can be found on the Finnish website.
