Valvira’s Rovaniemi offices to move to Science Centre Pilke on 30 May 2024
The National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health’s (Valvira) Rovaniemi offices will move from Koskenranta 3 to the Science Centre Pilke on Thursday 30 May 2024. The visiting address of the new offices is Ounasjoentie 6.
Valvira has offices in Rovaniemi and Helsinki. Valvira’s new offices in the Science Centre Pilke will be part of the shared work environments of Senate Properties, the work environment partner of the Finnish government. The move follows the central government’s property and facility strategy: it will produce savings from facility costs and enable the more effective use of the government’s facilities.
Pilke will offer workspaces, shared breakrooms and social facilities for roughly 230 government employees. In addition to Valvira, as well as Metsähallitus, the Finnish Meteorological Institute and the Natural Resources Institute Finland, which have already been at Pilke, Pilke will be home to the Regional State Administrative Agency for Lapland, and personnel from the National Prosecution Authority, the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency, Senate Properties, and the Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
