The Finnish National Agency for Education and Valvira are organising a joint webinar on the recognition of qualifications obtained abroad by the Finnish National Agency for Education and Valvira.

Recognition of a qualification means a decision on the qualification that a foreign qualification grants when applying for a job or study place. Experts from the Finnish National Agency for Education and Valvira will speak on the topic in the webinar. Valvira’s experts will share information in the webinar on how a social welfare and healthcare qualification obtained abroad is recognised in Finland. 
The webinar is aimed at those who need information on the recognition of qualifications and the services of the Finnish National Agency for Education and Valvira, for example 

  • those working with providing guidance and counselling for immigrants
  • those responsible for student selection in higher education 
  • employers
  • people who are considering applying for a decision themselves.  

The free webinar will be held on Thursday, 13 March 2025 from 9 to 11 am in English.
