Valvira's operations will end at the end of the year and its duties will be transferred to the new Finnish Supervisory Agency, which will launch on 1 January 2026. The maintenance of the e-service will also be transferred to the new agency. Through the e-service, users can apply for professional practice rights and file complaints.

Change causes outages in the service at the turn of the year

Due to the agency reform, Valvira’s e-service will be unavailable for a few days at the turn of the year. Please follow our website for up-to-date information.
According to the current estimate, the e-service will close on 30 December 2025 at 2:00 pm and is scheduled to reopen by noon on 2 January 2026.

During the outage, you cannot:

  • apply for professional practice rights for social welfare and healthcare through the e-service
  • submit a complaint concerning social welfare and healthcare  through the e‑service
  • access your account information in the e-service.

We recommend that you refrain from using the services at the very end or the beginning of the year.

Cases submitted to Valvira for processing during 2025 will be automatically transferred to the Finnish Supervisory Agency, and the agency will continue processing them at the beginning of 2026. For more information, please see the 18 November 2025 news release (in Finnish).

New web address and appearance of the e-service

At the beginning of 2026, the web address of the e-service will change. In the initial phase, customers will be automatically redirected from the old address to the new address. We recommend that you save the new address immediately at the beginning of the year.

As of 1 January 2026, the new address is ammattioikeudet-kantelut-asiointi.lvv.fi/.

The e-service will function as before. The service can also be accessed through the new agency's website at lvv.fi.

The service will be updated to match the visual appearance of the Finnish Supervisory Agency. Changes will apply to the logo and the colour scheme, for example. All changes will be implemented at the turn of the year and in early 2026.
