New tobacco register to open at the end of May

The updated tobacco register Turre will be deployed in May 2024. Its new URL is tupakkarekisteri.fi, where economic operators can submit applications for the retail of tobacco products or notifications of wholesale. To submit applications and notifications in the e-service, suomi.fi identification is required. The application form has also been updated. 

The update was completed on schedule, and the previous tobacco register will be discontinued at the end of May after the deployment of the new register. Due to the tight schedule, focus was on adding the functions that are required for the operation and use of the new register. The development of the register will continue after its deployment.
